This position will consist of a total 435 hours and starts June 18th, 2018. Duties include: Organize and implement special events for youth. Plan & coordinate Youth Drop In/Summer Day Camp programming. Assist with the delivery of Drop In/ Summer camp programming, assist with community based special events. 50 % Green team Grounds Maintenance/50% Camp Assistant (RWRC HIRE) The position will consist of a minimum of 400 hours and could start around July 3rd, 2018 (weather dependent) Duties include: Cutting grass/watering soccer fields, controlling weeds, painting, minor projects and general cleaning and maintenance at the summer youth drop in for 50% of the time, assisting with camp for the other 50% of the time. GREEN TEAM requirement for employment
The successful candidates for either position above, must be enrolled in high school or in post-secondary studies and be between the ages of 15 (as of May 1st) and no more than 29 years (as of August 31st). Having a Class 5 Driver’s license is not a requirement but will be considered an asset.
