Nobody's Perfect Parenting Program
We are so excited to be offering the Nobody’s Perfect Parenting Sessions Virtually this Spring! For parents with ages 0-5.
At Nobody’s Perfect sessions, you can learn about your child’s feelings, behaviours, body, and safety as well as sharing what it is like to be a parent.
Sessions are based on what you and other parents want to learn about, not step by step from a book.
Sessions will be offered for 8 weeks, on Wednesday evenings from 6pm-7:30pm. Starting May 4th and running until June 22nd. These sessions will be virtual (via zoom), you will need access to a stable internet connection to attend.
Funding provided by Department of Families.
Babysitting Course: May 28th from 9am-5pm
Class will take place at the Warren Hall. $75 for each student.*
The Babysitting course now has a greater emphasis on First Aid skills. The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course covers everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children. This updated curriculum, complete with new science, also provides improved learning when it comes to giving the appropriate care in the event of an emergency.
